Fotefighting 2012


You are hereby formally invited to partake in the foteviken fighting weekend 2012.
This event is an annual event in which we are kindly allowed to use and fight in the Museum of Foteviken, theentire “city of Foteviken.”
This event will host 2 full days of fighting, training and having fun.
...This even starts at april 20th.and ends april 22th.
Let the warmth of friendship take the chill from the air and the coming of the viking season make hard fighting easier to bear.

Please read the following information.
This event will focus on a number of games in order to learn more about the various aspects of fighting and working together under different circumstances. Arrival is from Friday April 20th at 16:00 and the event ends at Sunday April 22th at 15:00.
You must wear authentic viking gear only. Do not use gymclothes, civilian clothing or other non-authentic equipment. Only exception is shoes.
You are allowed to wear non-descript shoes for safety reasons.
To join up, you must pay 300 SEK no later than april 1st on swedish Bank-giro 5897-0609. Remember to write name on payment so we can keep track. Groups please pay together. The 300 SEK include all food during the entire event.
It does not include drinks other than water, juice and milk. If you are allergic or a vegetarian/vegan please inform us no later than april 1st so we can plan accordingly.
Mail adress to sign up is fotefighting@hotmail.com - please write name, group, primary weapon and years of experience. This is to divide as even and fair teams as possible.
If you want to rent a cabin please contact stugbokning@foteviken.se. As a member in SVEG, www.svegsbyalag.se, you are included in insurance during the visit and during the return travelling. The insurance cover injuries but not your personal belongings.
For this event Fotevikens Stugby has made an exception and you will get a the same price for cabin rental and SVEG House as the Byalag-group. Of course we see it as a positive act if you become a member of SVEG.
Program for this weekend will be announced friday evening.
This weekend is made possible by the Museum of Foteviken, letting us use the Viking city of Foteviken, Vellinge Bygdegård, letting us use “Valhall” for eating and “Frejas sal” for sleeping for free and good price from Fotevikens Stugby for the cabins and SVEG:s youth hostal.
